I thought today went very well. Eddie and Sarah both liked Severus and I think he liked them as well. Even Antony liked him, which is even better, though the look on Severus' face when Antony planted himself in front of him, looking for all the world like a miniature and much smaller version of Eddie, and started asking him questions was priceless. And Merlin knows spending time with Severus and my brother and his family was infinitely preferable to going to that Foundation thingy. I suppose at some point I'll have to start going to those but as long as I don't have to, I'm not going to. I'd much rather spend time with my family and be relaxed and have fun.

I have fittings for my dress tomorrow and I need to talk to Mirielle about how the bridesmaid dresses are going. Sarah was appropriately mysterious but I know she and Mirielle and Jacqueline will look beautiful. I also need to meet with the caterers this week and finalise the menu. Things are going rather well, I think.

My brother, sister-in-law and nephew recently returned from an extended business trip and were able to host their usual Easter Sunday lunch. Well, well, wasn't that interesting. Not to mention a complete waste of my time and effort. I could have been doing far more productive things with my day than wasting it with a bunch of people who think I'm incapable of carrying out a task. Most likely because I'm just a plebeian halfblood. Well, if I may dig down into the crude Quidditch vernacular I learned at school... screw them and the broom they rode in on.

Waste of a dress too. Now I won't be able to wear that one to any more Foundation functions.

Now I think I'm going to go and do something useful with what's left of the day. Certainly far more useful than pandering to snooty purebloods whose noses are so far in the air it's a wonder they don't keel over backwards.

Well, two dates and a few conversations over the journals that have mostly gone well and another date on Tuesday. Things seem to be going well after that little misunderstanding the other week. He's even willing to do something that he's not very comfortable doing if it makes me happy, though surely he can't fly that badly?

I think we can be friends and that's not a bad start to a marriage. It could be far worse after all. We could have taken a dislike to each other. Though I suppose in that case Father and Mr Lestrange might well have been willing to allow us to break off the engagement without much fuss.

He does seem to be trying awfully hard and I'm not quite sure how to tell him that he really doesn't have to do that. I don't think I'm very hard to get along with. Well, maybe he'll relax once we get to know each other better.

He does kiss well though. And I don't dare say that anywhere but here under wards. I was so worried he might get upset that I was so forward but he seemed pleased? Maybe when we go flying on Tuesday he'll kiss me again. I hope so. I liked that very much. Which I suppose augers well for our marriage.

I do miss Quidditch. Hopefully now that things are more settled, the Ministry might be willing to restart the League. It would certainly be a wonderful message that things are back to normal. And yes, I suppose I'm awfully biased but I still think it's true.

There was another broadcast of that radio show, Resistance Radio, tonight. I think it started around 9.30pm. I came in a little after it started but I don't think it had been going for too long. The people doing it didn't use names again but they did call themselves Crow and Raven.

They talked about dark creatures and said that recent attacks in Kent and Doulting proved that Mr Greyback isn't in prison or St Mungos and that his redemption and apologies are false. They also said that it wasn't foreign terrorists who attacked your library in Hogsmeade though they didn't say who they thought it was and that the Ministry is just using the attack as an excuse to close the borders.

I think that was all that was said that was of any importance.
